    Life Transitions and Relational Issues

Life transitions can stir up emotions and questions you didn’t expect. You might be moving through divorce and feeling both relief and grief at the same time. You may be entering midlife and noticing a shift in identity, priorities, or energy. Maybe the kids have left home and the quiet feels heavier than you imagined. A new job, retirement, or finishing school can bring excitement mixed with uncertainty, self-doubt, or a sense of “Who am I now?” Even positive changes can unsettle old patterns or bring long-buried feelings to the surface.

Relational issues often rise alongside these transitions. You may feel disconnected from your partner, stuck in the same arguments, or unsure how to communicate what you really need. You might notice people-pleasing, caretaking, or conflict-avoidant patterns that leave you feeling unseen or resentful. Or you may be grieving the loss of a relationship you thought would look different by now. In this space, we slow down and listen to what each part of you is experiencing–the overwhelmed parts, the protective parts, the hopeful parts–and help them find clarity, steadiness, and a way forward that feels aligned with you you’re becoming.
