I am a Licensed Professional Counselor-Mental Health, and a Licensed Addictions Counselor. I am a Certified Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapist offering trauma-informed therapy in Sioux Falls and the greater Minnehaha County, South Dakota area. My work centers on helping people reconnect with their inner clarity, compassion, and strength. I have been providing counseling services for 31 years.
Specialty Areas:
I organize my practice in the pursuit of discovering Grace, healing, and balanced living. My path into this work has been shaped by decades of sitting with people in their most honest and vulnerable moments. I’ve learned that healing doesn’t come from pushing or performing. It comes from being met with steadiness, warmth, and genuine respect for the system’s own timing. That is at the heart of my practice. I have extensive experience in providing services for the Native American community, and have a strong interest in historical trauma and grief.
IFS is my primary modality because it honors each person’s internal world with such dignity. I also integrate Brainspotting, ART, and other trauma-responsive approaches to support clients navigating anxiety, trauma, burnout, relationship patterns, and the quiet ache of feeling disconnected from themselves.
Alongside my clinical work, I supervise therapists and serve as a Program Assistant in IFS trainings, which keeps me connected to ongoing learning and the wider IFS community. If you’re seeking IFS therapy or consultation in Sioux Falls, SD, or looking or a therapist who offers a gentle, attuned, and deeply respectful approach, I’d be honored to connect.
